Leyla star Lydia Tuğutlu, who started modeling after being selected first in the Miss Turkey 2008 pageant, and then went on to act with the series "Es-Es" and "Kirli Beyaz", shone with the series "Karadayı ". The 23-year-old actress also hosts the "HT Club" program on the Habertürk channel. Meanwhile, Cemal Hünal and child actress Nisa Melis Telli, directed by Kemal Uzun and Mete Sener, appeared on camera as a babysitter in the film "Günce," which opened on Friday.
We spoke with Tuğutlu about the past and future of his acting adventure.

 

 

Why did you choose "Günce" for the first movie?
Since I started the television series “Es Es”, I have been receiving offers for movies. But she didn't have a project that she was comfortable with and she wasn't ready in terms of acting. I was looking forward to a job where she felt comfortable and was proud of what I did. It was a very real and sweet story. I thought my role was very suitable for me and I wanted to give it a try. It's a very real and very natural story, so I think you will love it. It is a film in which everyone will find something because today's issues are covered. It was an emotional movie with many tears.

 

 

What was the scene that most impressed you?
I really cried in scenes where I had to cry. Because I played a lot with feeling. My most affected scenes were with Nisa because I cannot bear the sadness and pain of a child, even if it is a role.

 

 

How did you prepare for the movie?
I did research on child development. Since he has a very different side in psychological terms, I investigated how to treat children, how to speak, how to react when a child has a health problem.

 

 

 "I realized that I couldn't get anywhere just modeling"

 

 

How did you start acting?
For me, acting has been a coincidence. I started playing the piano at a very young age. I had a very intense childhood studying piano and music theory after enrolling in the conservatory. My main goal was to become a musician. I entered the Best Model contest at 14-15 years old. I was chosen as "Promising". I stopped music and started modeling. Later I realized that I couldn't just come to a model place in Turkey. I wanted to have an academic career. But I entered Miss Turkey under pressure from my environment. After winning the contest, the offers arrived. I started to present "HT Club" in Habertürk. Four years have passed. Right now, I am attending college and acting. I started acting with the television series "Es Es". Now I continue on "Karadayı" .

 

 

How is "Karadayı" going?
After two unfortunate jobs like the short-term "Es Es" and "Kirli Beyaz", a long-term job has come in handy. The cast is like school to me. I can learn everything from anyone on set.

What are your goals from now on?
I don't plan too much. Just one.
I want to start a family and have a past that I will not regret. When I look back, I'm glad I did these things, I want to improve myself in terms of acting.
I want to be like Bergüzar Korel and Beren Saat one day. My goal is to be a good actress, presenter and mother.

Is there someone in your life right now?
I am a person with a long relationship and I take my relationship very seriously. That's why I don't talk too much, I don't want to show it. Why
I'm afraid that something will always happen. If I get married, I'll get married so I can have a child. Because I want to grow up with my son.

 

 

What is the definition of love in you?
I don't believe in love at first sight. I think you can fall in love as you get to know yourself, which is what happened to me in what I lived. In love there is absolute respect and loyalty. When you are in love, your logic is disabled, your eyes go blind, but I do not give myself for love. We can do a lot of nonsense while in love, but I don't commit too much.

 

 

Can we say that you are a logical person?
It doesn't really make any sense, I'm a very emotional person. But I must be a little careful with love. I'm a little more scared by this.

In "Karadayı", the story sat last season. Everybody knows everything now. I can say that this year we will focus a little more on the supporting characters. I will have more scenes. Because things will get a little more complicated.
